After a long trip, we made it home safe and sound. Our friends Michael and Joyce were there to greet us after taking care of our children for the afternoon. Our kids were happy to see us and welcomed the new temporary addition. Our Bloomberg and Buttercup's birthday was Sunday and Michael and Joyce had brought them wonderful treats - they even brought us some things to eat knowing we would be getting in late.
This trip was not without sadness...our friend Yumiko found out after a trip to the ER that afternoon that her beloved Kei is fighting cancer. This is incredibly sad news for us. With difficult times ahead please keep Yumiko and Kei in your thoughts and prayers.
We were so lucky to have so many wonderful people help us bring Allie here. Her adventure is far from over - more like just beginning. We will keep you updated.
In the mean time I will leaving Allie with my husband and my other children as I head to OSU to be with Yumiko and Kei.
